Nestled in the mist-covered hills of Karnataka’s coffee country, Gateway Coorg is a serene luxury retreat surrounded by dense rainforests, sprawling coffee plantations, and scenic trails. Often referred to as the “Scotland of India,” Coorg offers a breathtaking natural backdrop making the property an immersive escape that blends tranquility with contemporary hospitality.

For this project, TERMINAL|ONE executed a pre-opening shoot, meticulously designed to capture the property in its purest and most evocative form. Every frame was planned with precision aligned to natural light transitions, ensuring the right balance of mood, atmosphere, and spatial depth across all visuals.

The focus was to highlight the deep connection between the architecture and its lush surroundings. From misty mornings rolling over coffee estates to soft golden-hour light filtering through the forest, each image was crafted to reflect the calm, immersive experience that defines Gateway Coorg.

Alongside this, TERMINAL|ONE developed detailed styling and scene-setting enhancing rooms, dining spaces, and outdoor experiences while staying true to the earthy, nature-led aesthetic of the property. The visual language emphasized organic textures, soft tones, and a sense of stillness—bringing out the essence of slow, mindful travel.

The result is a cohesive visual narrative that captures Gateway Coorg not just as a destination, but as an experience—where nature, luxury, and tranquility come together in perfect harmony.
